The lawyers of Law Firm Juridicon, dr. Rūta Lazauskaitė and dr. Laimonas Marcinkevičius, participated in the AEA International Lawyers Network congress, Management and Marketing of Law Firms, which took place in Prague. A close cooperation of Juridicon with the offices of this international lawyers network and lawyers gives a possibility to help clients solve their legal issues in all 193 members of the United Nations, as well as in Taiwan, Kosovo and Palestine.
The congress hosted over 160 participants from different countries, among whom were partners and lawyers, and focused on challenges that are faced by today’s lawyers; measures were discussed on creating added value to the client, helping reorganise the system of providing legal services, pricing, improving the client’s and lawyers’ satisfaction.
In this congress, the head of Juridicon, dr. Laimonas Marcinkevičius, delivered a speech, Lawyers As Project Managers: To Be Or Not To Be. It introduced the methodology of transaction and case management applied in the law firm; essential competencies, which the lawyers have to develop nowadays to successfully work on clients’ transactions and cases; measures of process improvement; as well as modern technologies allowing to offer clients mutually beneficial win-to-win solutions.
In their legal practice, the lawyers of Law Firm Juridicon have been improving their project management competencies since 2007, with the purpose of better serving clients, and they use up-to-date project management methodologies to more efficiently manage projects, continuously upgrade and modernise their knowledge management system and optimise processes. Since 2017, Juridicon have been progressing to a new phase of providing legal services, related to professional project management, which allows offering the client more value.
