Introduction 

Laimonas Marcinkevičius is the head of Tax Law practice, having more than 20 years of legal practice and managing legal teams. He provides advice on issues connected with investment, taxes, business practices and company law – primarily to companies owned by individuals and families, organisations engaged in project implementation and private clients. His expertise in the field of company risk and legal management of projects will be of particular interest to clients looking for new insights in areas such as company acquisition, risk identification and development of contingency plans.

Since 2007, Laimonas Marcinkevičius is recognised and recommended as an tax law expert, also in the fields of company and finance law by the Tax Directors Handbook, global law firms, and EUROPEAN LEGAL EXPERTS published by The Legal 500.

2001–2017. Articles and commentaries on issues of tax and international business in Lithuanian business papers Verslo Žinios and Ekonomika.

2010–2016. Co-author of the article “Tax on Inbound Investment” published in a section of Getting the Deal Through that was dedicated to Lithuania.

2008. Author of the articles, “Main forms of international joint ventures” and “Prospects of regulation of international joint ventures” , published in the scientific journal, Socialinių Mokslų Studijos.

2007–2016. Co-author of a Lithuanian section about tax on profits in in The International Comparative Legal Guide to Corporate Tax, published by Global Legal Group Ltd in London.

2006–2009. Author of the Lithuanian section about control of company mergers in Lithuania in The International Comparative Legal Guide to Merger Control, published by Global Legal Group Ltd in London.
